MFC Prez: ‘Drew Fickett will never fight in the MFC’
According to the President of Maximum Fighting Championship, UFC veteran Drew Fickett will no longer be allowed to compete for the Canadian-based promotion.
The two have had a battle of words ever since Fickett agreed on one day's notice to compete as Joe Riggs' replacement at this past Friday's Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Thomson event. Fickett wasn't aware that it would have violated his MFC contract and when Strikeforce was notified, the group removed Fickett to avoid any legal issues.
