Nate Marquardt wants to avenge his UFC 85 loss to Thales Leites.
Marquardt lost a split decision he probably would have won had he not committed two fouls. The judges scored the fight 28-27 for Leites, 28-27 for Marquardt, and 28-27 for Leites.
"On the first knee, I really thought he was getting up, and so it was definitely my mistake," Marquardt said. "On the second point the deduction, the elbow, I’m pretty sure it hit the side of his head, kinda towards his temple area, and it was a horizontal elbow, it should have been completely legal.
