UFC President Dana White’s big announcement that is "going to blow people’s minds" will happen Tuesday, June 17.
White told baltimoresun.com’s "MMA Stomping Grounds" that the announcement, which was supposed to be revealed this past Thursday, was bumped because he returned from England late Wednesday. Also, White said by Tuesday, everyone who works for the UFC will be in town for "The Ultimate Fighter 7" Finale in Las Vegas.
When faced with choices, one tends to go with the more appealing, more festive or more intriguing one, right? Thus, when presented with this past weekends entertainment selection, I choose Sumo Wrestling.

Frankie Edgar will take on Hermes Franca in a lightweight bout at UFC 87: Seek and Destroy on August 9, the promotion announced today.
Franca (18-6) will be returning from a one-year suspension due to steroids stemming from his UFC lightweight title bout against Sean Sherk at UFC 83 last July. Franca admitted to using Drostanolone to speed up the healing process of an injured ankle rather than pull out of the fight.
