Suzie Seever has had to undergo a double-lung and kidney transplant over the past eight years because she has cystic fibrosis. The White Bear Lake woman has persevered.
“If I hadn’t had my transplants, I wouldn’t be here,” said Seever. “I’m on my third chance already, even asking for the fourth, because just knowing the meds and (I’m) not sure how long this kidney will hold out.”

Despite not headlining, season one winner Diego Sanchez earned the evening’s top prize of $70,000 at the ‘TUF 7 Finale‘ on Saturday. His opponent, Luigi Fioravanti, earned $10,000.
Season three winner Kendall Grove’s main event win over former middleweight champion Evan Tanner scored him a $32,000 pay day, while Tanner, in his seventeen appearance for the UFC, made $25,000.
Phil Baroni will try his hand in the welterweight division in an effort to rejuvenate his career.
Baroni (10-10), signed to EliteXC, will compete in sister promotion Cage Rage, on July 12 at the Wembley Arena in London against an opponent to be determined.
Baroni has lost five of his last seven and three straight — all in brutal fashion — against Frank Shamrock, Kala Hose and Joey Villasenor.
Baroni has shown an ability in the past to turn things around. In 2005, he became a star for PRIDE three months after leaving the UFC on four straight losses.
