I am currently in wrestling and I love fighting as a sport but can’t really afford a MMA schools or anything like that. I need the very basics. Wrestling is very different, so i need stance work, footwork work, all that good stuff. I have gloves a punching bag and a friend who wants to learn too. So any help is appreciated.

You and your buddy have as much chance of teaching each other calculus as you do of teaching each other fighting with your gloves and bag.
Do what you would do to learn calculus and go to a teacher. Take a class or join a gym. You’d be surprised what you can find if you look. PAL’s, YMCA’s, or community recreation programs are good places to start.
this might sound cheesey or funny but start by getting the tae-bo workout dvds or tapes.it helps conditioning n basic kick boxing just to learn the techniques n posture.then practice some moves on the bag.it works,it builds your core.
My uncle does his own routine, to grow punching strength hit a large sledgehammer on a large tire repeatedly and work with weight balls, playing catch with them. Your Pressure in your punches will grow rapidly. Try that first.
just go to a boxing or kickboxing gym.
they’re cheap.
and they’ll give you the basics and you can take it from there
